ABC Wednesday: G is for...

G is for God. The amazing, sustaining, astonishing, uplifting, loving, sometimes maddening mystery that is God, whose Spirit flows in and around and through me.

 God of grace and light...
whose Spirit joins with my spirit...
infusing my life with joy and passion and awesome wonder...
beating in the rhythm of my heart...
beloved...beloved.
Holy Mystery...Wholly Love.
In whom all things are possible...
To you, O God, I sing Hallelujah!!

And because Wednesday this week falls on the rare(ish), once every four years, leap year special day Feb 29th...I'm doing a double post.

(Ok so the double post is really just because I'm indecisive when it comes to choosing themes...
but hey it's my blog so you can't stop me...muahahaha!!!!!!)

G is also for...Goofy!!!

Get yourself over to Mrs. Nesbitt's ABCW website and see what's
Going on in everyone else's blog space this week!

Interesting double post.
Goofy is always fun. We need to let our hair down more often.
Love your post on God and His atributes. Good job.

Goofy for God, I love it! I agree with Roger, why not? I think God wants us to be goofy and light-hearted! Great post!

Hi Anne, two wonderful photos and take on leap year Wednesday. A cool photo and your words are so beautiful.

And it's so nice to see your inner child make an appearance. Goofy is a fun take and I love both your photos.

Have a great day today.

Nice to have two contrasting posts to celebrate the day. If we had kept the Julius Caesar decree to balance the four years we would have had two 24th's of February, you could have done one each day:-)

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed my post! The God-Goofy combo is not so farfetched as you might think...

Hallelujah is an expression of praise to God. The word "hallel" in Hebrew means a joyous praise in song, to boast in God. Hallel might also refer to someone who acts foolishly.

(Just thinking that perhaps I should have saved this double post for next week: H for Hallelujah! lol)
